Jennifer Heiger, ND
Dr. Heiger is a licensed, board-certified naturopathic physician practicing in the Seattle area. She was awarded her doctorate at Bastyr University here in Washington State. Since graduation, Dr. Heiger has taken every opportunity to expand her clinical knowledge to better serve her patients. Of those opportunities, she has worked at Key Compounding Pharmacy as a Naturopathic Consultant. There she learned about bio-identical hormones, treatments for chemical sensitivities and the latest trends in medical research. Dr. Heiger has also worked with a medical doctor, who is a board-certified allergist and immunologist, and gained clinical experience in treating environmental exposures, chemical sensitivities and allergies. In the fall of 2011, Dr. Heiger interned at the Hawaii Naturopathic Retreat Center on the Big Island of Hawaii. There she built knowledge about proper detoxification and how to clinically treat a number of disorders, including addiction.
Dr. Heiger is a member of both the WANP (Washington Association for Naturopathic Physicians) and the AANP (American Association for Naturopathic Physicians).
Dr. Heiger sees patients with all types of conditions. She specializes in chronic disorders, such as chemical sensitivities, mold exposure, anxiety, depression, fatigue, addiction, digestive problems, hormone imbalance, adrenal and thyroid disorders and weight management. Dr. Heiger implements treatments depending on the individual. She uses nutritional therapies, diet and lifestyle counseling, detoxification, herbal remedies and bio-identical hormones.
Insurance and Rates
Dr. Heiger is currently contracted with Regence BlueShield, Premera BlueCross, LifeWise, First Choice and Cigna. For patients with out-of-network naturopathic coverage, we will submit a bill for you to your insurance company. There is a discount offered to patients who wish to pay cash at time of service. Rates will vary slightly depending on complexity of the patient's concern. Please feel free to call or email with any questions regarding fees and insurance.
