I fell in love with yoga after my first class in 1999, while looking for a tool to cope with my mother's death. As I walked out of that first class, I knew I had found what my body and my heart were aching for. I continue to come to the mat almost every day, to connect with the strong, loving, and compassionate being that lies within me, and to take these values into my daily life as a student and a teacher.
These days, I participate in a lot of acro and acroyoga. I have been playing with this practice since 2011, when I took a immersion with Jenni SaurKlein and Deven Sisler. I started practicing regularly in 2013. You can find me standing on my friends feet at the park, the circus school, or the yoga studio. I was never naturally good at acrobatics. I have had to work hard to get anywhere with it. I hope that motivates you to give it a try!
I completed a 200-hour Teacher Training at Inner Freedom Yoga in 2010 and a 200 hr Teacher Training with Desiree Rumbaugh in 2011.
