Micheala Keehn EAMP, LAc
Micheala believes in the inherent wisdom of the body and its natural ability to heal when given the resources and gentle guidance. She is fascinated with the innate intelligence of our bodies and believes that symptoms of disease are the body's attempt at healing itself. When the body, mind, and spirit are in alignment with each other and with our environment, deep healing at a holistic level can take place. Micheala fell in love with East Asian medicine for this reason. When treating patients, every aspect of a person and their environment is taken into consideration, treating the whole person, not just masking symptoms. Micheala's goal is to hold a safe and supportive space for healing to take place, as well as to encourage patients to understand and be involved in their health. Along with acupuncture, she uses herbal medicine, cupping, tuning forks, gua sha, massage, guided meditation and visualization in her treatments.
