After 15+ years of competitive and performance dance, Ally found yoga as a means to rework and heal many dance related injuries and negative physical health patterns. Ally has been practicing yoga for the last 8 years and received her 200hr RYT in Forrest Yoga with Ana Forrest. In addition, Ally has studied Hatha Yoga in-depth with Helen D McCandles as well as Body/Mind Awareness and Pranayama with William Crowell. Ally has completed a 200hr Personal Self Mastery + Forrest Yoga program with Gianna Carotenuto and a 20hr Functional Anatomy program with Ellen Heed. Academically, Ally holds a BA in Photography and Visual Communications form St. Edward’s University.

With a passion for somatic healing, anatomy, and dance, yoga with Ally is akin to physical therapy. Utilizing intelligent asana sequencing and breath to achieve greater depths of feeling and healing, Ally sets a safe container of Divine space and ceremony for her students to work into old injuries and latent trauma held in the body. Ally believes yoga is a profound method to invite spirit into our hearts and entire body.
