We are living in pretty crazy times; our minds distracted by hectic schedules, media bombardment, and serious stimulation overload just to name a few. The havoc that modern life wreaks on our bodies is palpable, and many of us feel very disconnected from our true selves. A growing number of people have discovered the antidote – Ganja yoga.
The pairing of cannabis and yoga has been going on for thousands of years. Now that cannabis is becoming normalized and slowly legalized, the truth about its benefits are starting to come to light. The therapeutic effects of yoga have been well documented, and the combination of the two is downright magical. Join us in exploring how cannabis can enhance your practice, as well as your life in general!
Before and after class, you will have the opportunity to socialize and build community by getting to know people who may be new to the world of cannabis yoga and others who may have an already cultivated passion for it.
NOTE: This is a 21 and over event.
About the yoga:
This will be an evening of relaxing introspective practice. No vinyasas here, you won’t even have to stand up! This class is for ALL bodies, regardless of your prior experience with cannabis, yoga, or combination of the two. We will be exploring poses that help open up the body in a relaxing way, spending time in each stretch, and providing us an opportunity to take our attention deeply inward.

What to bring:
A valid ID. Because this is strictly a 21 and over event, you will not be admitted without it.
Wear comfy clothes and make sure to bring along your own mat, a water bottle, and any soft items (sweatshirt, blanket, pillow, etc.) you wish to make the ground a little cozier. If you don't happen to have a mat, some are available at the studio for rent.
Bring whatever form of cannabis you plan on consuming. Vaping (pen, dab, dry-herb vaporizer) is ok indoors, but combusting flower (pipe, joint, bong, etc.) has to be done out the back door. If you don’t have anything to bring, don’t worry, there will be tons to share!
